  • FIV/FELV test (under 6 months may be test of a littermate)

  • Treated for worms and fleas as necessary

  • Microchipped

Adoption Process

Ready to Adopt?

  • Visit and meet the cat you hope to adopt at Brea PetSmart in the Adoption Center, at an Adoption Event or by Appointment.

  • Fill out an Adoption Application.

  • Take photos of the application and text to 562 237-8407 or email to allisonleibigcit@gmail.com.

  • An interview via phone will be conducted.

  • If approved, an in person appointment will be scheduled at the Brea PetSmart to complete the adoption.

  • Bring the adoption fee and a cat carrier to the appointment.

  • Take your new friend home! :)
